2025 BIPF SPECIAL EXHIBITION
Fujifilm GFX Challenge
Grant Program Winner Exhibition
The Fujifilm GFX Challenge Grant Program is an international platform that
supports the experiments and creative endeavors of visionary creators
worldwide. Since its launch in 2021, it has supported a number of creators and
their creative production.
By encouraging new perspectives and narratives through the renowned Fujifilm
GFX system, the program serves not only as a grant but also as an arena
where the horizon of contemporary visual culture continues to expand. This
exhibition highlights four Korean artists-Park Shin Woo, Oh Jung Hoon, Yoon
Seok Jun, and Lee Da Seul-who won the GFX Challenge awards. Through the
lens of the GFX, each artist captures the world in their own unique way. The
camera can enrich the experience of travel or become a tool for meditation on
life. For some, it is a gateway to seeing differently; for others, it is a bridge for
reaching out to the lives of others. What they have seen, heard, and felt remain
vividly alive within their photographs.
Above all, this exhibition is an opportunity to share the fruits of creative journeys
made possible by the GFX Challenge. The perspectives crafted by these four
artists reach far beyond simple documentation, inviting us to see our world
anew. In their images, we are prompted to ask new questions and discover new
possibilities.
