The Busan International Photography Festival Organizing Committee (Chairman Na Hong-ryeol) will hold the 10th Busan International Photography Festival (BIPF), themed “Human 人”, from July 29 to August 18, 2026.

The 2026 Busan International Photography Festival, titled “Human 人” will explore the existential question, “To what extent are human beings respected?” on a global scale. By inviting artists and works from both Korea and abroad, the festival will present universal human values rooted in “human dignity” through its main exhibitions.

To this end, the festival will feature the hematic exhibition “Being Human”, the international exchange exhibition “Global Art Project: World _ S E Q U E N C E S,” the international young artists exhibition “Empathy with the Times,” and the international open call “Hello Human” at the Busan Port International Exhibition & Convention Center and Sasang Indie Station. In addition, various special exhibitions and side events will also take place.

The 2026 Busan International Photography Festival, “Human 人”, will highlight the shared spiritual values of humanity that must be restored through the enduring dignity of the human spirit. By showcasing Korean photographic art alongside world-renowned artists, it will mark as another milestone in Busan International Photography Festival’s journey as Korea’s premier photography festival.
